Bringing significant results while in constant turmoil, both externally and internally from very early on in my career, is what I am mostly proud of.

Besides business achievements, I am also deeply proud of our “plaisio people”. Having a Promotion from Within philosophy, we assign most of our management positions to people from inside the company, and thus we train and coach them intensively to be up to par for the new position.

This has created career opportunities and improved the quality of life of many of our colleagues. Only in 2021 we promoted 108 associates and 86% of our top management positions came from people who started their career with us.

I am also proud of the social change we have the luxury of bringing by being a financially healthy business, and of the impact our collective work has on the Greek economy.

Finally, I am proud that despite the business turbulence and the very long hours of work I have put in in the last twenty years, I try to be a caring husband and father of three children, as well as a caring son.
